Ethiopia claims coffee is the gift to the world. Infact, there is a consensus among historians and botanists that cofee is indigenous to Ethiopia. Etymologists enterpret "COFFEE" as a derivative of the province of Keffa where it still grows wild. It is from Ethiopia that coffee spread to Arabia, India, Ceylon, Java, Brazil, Colombia, and then back to African countries such as Kenya and Tanzania.
